"THE ARTLESSNESS OF THE DEAL"

INTRODUCTION

We're in a new age in terms of "global diplomacy" - some commentators pompously refer to the - "Trumpian Age of Global Diplomacy and International Affairs." We have referred to it as "Global Wise Guy Diplomacy" since in essence - its characteristics, bear all the hallmarks of not just illegitimacy (threats, 'tarifficking,' 'imperialistic land grabs') - but the general demeanour of those involved - the way they conduct themselves - not just the amateurism, we're reminded of the "signal affair" - "signalgate" as it will no doubt eventually be remembered. But there's also that general "menace" - which exudes from the White House. Some provide it with a political cloak and describe it as "authoritarianism" - "fascism" or "neo-fascism" - we have termed it - the "White Power Matrix" - we think that that is a neutral political description - the word "menace" isn't.

Just look at the way "friends and allies" are treated - "guests" - such as - the Ukrainian President - you may hate him, but he's still a guest - the White house debacle surrounding President Zelensky - is a more infamous event - simply because of the way he was treated, yet hundreds of thousands, some would say millions of soldiers on both side of the war, have been killed and maimed - yet, the main story, was his "ill treatment" - there were such side issues, like did the VP Vance and Trump ambush the hapless Ukrainian President. These were the themes that the political pundits ran with - whilst war raged and still rages - there is still no "peace deal" of any substance in Europe. War rages and still rages - there is still no peace agreement of any substance - in the Ukraine War. What petty themes - we are all fed, when such momentous events are unfolding.

Not surprisingly, political commentators - those who have invested their working lifetimes - into understanding the intricacies and nuances of "world politics" - "global diplomacy" - "international relations" - seek for cover. They seek explanations to tell an equally baffled public - their constituents - what is going on. There are attempts to dress up strange goings on - as a "new kind of logic" - hence we are now in the "Trumpian Era of Global Diplomacy."

It gets worse - what's he actually saying? - What does he mean? How long does what he says - last? Is it mood dependent? - What are the factors that affect the mood? - And in that vein - our careful commentators and pundits offer advice - to other statesmen and women - ambassadors - diplomats - those who have to visit - the court - of the President. One familiar item of clothing that is often used - to somehow provide a guiding principle - if not logic and understanding - is the woeful term - "the art of the deal." We are constantly reminded that this incumbent in the White House, once wrote a book called - "The Art Of The Deal."

I understand that it was a book - that didn't deal with all deals - I haven't read it - but given the subject matter - what does it matter, that it arose out of a drama sitcom - celebrity chat show - or some kind of apprenticeship scheme - well anyway - "The Art Of A Deal" - written in 1987 - is so profound - and is so monumental in its explanation of its subject matter - "the deal" - that it is constantly wheeled out, as an artefact, to assist in the understanding of "The Trumpian Era of Global Politics."

Art - is defined as (DETAILS: Britanica).

"The Deal" - what is a deal? - There are "deals" and "deals" - there are "real estate deals" - "car deals" - there are "good deals" - "bad deals" - "buy one get one free deals" - it is nonsensical - to equate - this work - in any way - with the exigencies - of the deals (if that term can be used) - required of Global Politics - World Diplomacy - International Relations - Trade - Global Finance, Business and Economics. And yet - we are told - that this work somehow - is of some relevance to the meanderings of current American Diplomacy. Its the best they've got.

But let's just assume - that this book - was of some relevance - this - "The Art Of A Deal." What has been so arty - artistic? - in the conduct and manner of the current incumbent - his acolytes and followers, who sustain - and maintain - his court? They are artless - in addition to being incompetant - boorish - lacking historical perspective or meaningful insight - into the affairs - on any part of this Planet.

Greenland!!! - who could have ever have thought - that Greenland - would become the centre of 21st century Global Politics - and the possible cause - for superpower - not just rivalry - for that has always existed in that region (DETAILS) - but now potential global conflict? This president - President Trump - has given the green light for dictators - to strut their stuff as "strong men." If Trump gobbles up Greenland - what's there for the others? - Taiwan? - Europe? - You see - this is the very essence of "Global Wise Guy Diplomacy." No - the book should be renamed - 'The Artlessness Of The Deal.'

We are constantly reminded - about "the cards" - who holds the cards - who wasn't given a card (invitation) - what cards are to be played - in which manner - oh I forgot about one deal... the peace deal... would be made in a day - artless - why - the deal was broadcast - not even before the ink had dried on the paper..... artless! Since there was neither ink nor paper - artless.

The art of the grubby deal - thats a better title - where the fates - lives of Nations and Peoples - are mixed in with mineral rights and ores - how can be? what on earth have mineral rights to do with 'Peace?' There was a word - or many words for this sort of behaviour - once upon a time... Imperialism! - or to use a term within the new "Global Wise Guy Diplomacy" - "shakedown" - that's what it is.

Donald Trump - is dismantling - Western Civilization - or as we call it - the "White Power Matrix" and the "Power Elite" - those who do not applaud - simply wring their hands. But before a new creation - there has to be destruction - but who would have thought - that the destruction - would have been wrought - by a singlular champion of White Power - and White Supremacy - Donald J. Trump - Artlessness!
